Which file formats can be imported?
Whether BIM, 3D, or 2D—all planning data can serve as a basis. This includes:
• BIM-files: .rvt and .ifc
• 3D-files: .fbx, .3ds, .gITF, .dae, .3dm, .obj, and more
• 2D-files: dwg, .dxf, .pdf, .jpg, .bmp
How do I log into wellplaced?
Register an user account in the TANGILITY Portal. If your organization has available licences you can copy a login-token from your portal dashboard to your device to log in to wellplaced.
Where do I find tutorials?
All tutorials for installing and using the software are available in the TANGILITY Portal.
Which hardware do I need?
VR glasses are required to use the wellplaced VR software. We recommend the Meta Quest 3 for an affordable experience. The software works without streaming. This means that users can use a computer if needed, but are not required to. This saves on hardware costs and allows for greater flexibility.
Which level of detail can be displayed?
From LOD 1 through 2 to 3, simple volumes, detailed geometries, and textured geometries can be visualized with color and material rendering in various lighting scenarios. This makes wellplaced suitable for use in all planning phases.
Can I also use the software in my existing inventory?
Your existing building can be displayed as a scan in virtual reality or you can overlay your existing building with virtual data.
How secure is my data?
All data is hosted GDPR-compliant at German companies within Germany.
What license model do you offer?
We offer free-floating licenses that can be used on various devices (XR headsets or computers) by different employees within your organization. This provides maximum flexibility in use.
