Use Case: Planning the factory district
This use case had two objectives: internal process optimization and external communication. A company wanted to expand its factory with an additional building and a cafeteria for the neighboring residential area. The company wanted to clarify internal logistics and check whether the new machines would fit through the gates and into the factory hall. Involving local residents in change management served to communicate with the neighboring community.
TANGILITY helped define clear goals for the use of mixed reality and implemented the software. Ultimately, internal processes and machine delivery were optimized. In addition, acceptance of the changes in the residential area increased. The XR presentation also served as advertising for the company's new, publicly accessible canteen.
