Use case: Modernization of an Existing Hospital

Not every building needs to be constructed from scratch. In this case, the interior design and medical equipment of an existing hospital building were modernized. Collisions had to be checked, and existing staff were asked to contribute their practical knowledge. They were able to test work processes virtually and make essential design changes. For example, access to the wet rooms in each patient room had to be relocated. This would have been a very costly change in a hospital that was still in operation.
